HALLOWEEN HAVOC IS HERE!

Something wicked is surely brewing…

The scent of incense and tinctures begins to fade as you leave the Oracle’s realm, a new set of Tarot Superstar cards now in your possession. The Oracle is as wise as he is cunning, yet you feel emboldened from your decisive victory. You have beaten the Oracle.

Once again, you find yourself on a trail headed into a twisted woodland, the clouds assembling into a gloomy shroud. Night is falling quickly, and fog begins to pool around your ankles. Suddenly, a cackle—then a deep, bellowing howl, and the croak of a frog. Through the trees, you spy a coven of cloaked characters hunched around a swirling cauldron. Swirls of magic energy waft from the giant pot as the six utter incantations and gesture wildly. You turn to back away, and—SNAP. A tree branch cracks under your foot. Their heads snap towards you—they’ve spotted you! Run!

The HALLOWEEN HAVOC event has arrived with SIX new Halloween Flip cards in tow. To earn them, you'll need to chase down a set of legacy cards based on five different Superstars and fill up each of their respective cauldrons. Collect legacy cards, trade them in, fill up cauldrons, and earn Flip Card SEs—but that’s not all.

You may have noted to yourself, “There are six Halloween Flip cards…and only five cauldrons?” And you’d be right, but don’t fret; you just have to indulge in a little Alchemy.

Each small cauldron represents one of the following stars: AJ Lee, Aleister Black, Kairi Sane, Alexa Bliss, and Becky Lynch—overfilling each of their cauldrons will allow you to unlock the star behind the LARGE CAULDRON, Rhea Ripley.

As you fill each small cauldron, it will begin to “overflow” into the large cauldron. If you’re only focused on one or two cards, you’re welcome to collect only their cards to help fill your large cauldron, though we recommend using all five of the smaller cauldrons to fill the large one. Once the large cauldron fills, you’ll be rewarded with the Rhea Ripley card. After that, the large cauldron will be emptied, but you won’t lose progress on your small cauldrons, so you’ll technically have a bit of an advantage going around the second time.

Finally, keep an eye on the Community Cauldron– as you earn and redeem legacy cards, you’ll add points into the Community Cauldron. Fill that one up, and you’ll get rewards to spill across the entire game for all to enjoy. Trick or treat, eh?

Flip, flip, flip

As we add more Flip cards to the game, we want to make sure they’re as fun and interesting to use as they are to collect. Because of that, we’ve made a few adjustments to the card type. Flip cards can now have different stats and alignments on each side of the card. While this introduces an additional challenge, it also allows you to get two powerful cards for the challenge of one; allowing you to adjust your deck to specific challenges.

In addition to this, you can now swap images in Flip cards. This was a highly requested quality of life feature that we’re happy to oblige—let your creativity run wild! You should return to some of your older Flip cards to try on some new portraits.

Keep in mind that this is a general change for most flip cards and may not apply unilaterally to ALL flip cards.

All in all, we didn’t want to miss the chance to get some fun new Flip SEs into your hands, and what better chance than Halloween for a few extra goodies in your bag?

That’s all for now,
