RHEA'S RIPTIDE + ONE-WAY CARD SWAPPING

Rip it and Ride; it's RHEA'S RIPTIDE!

Windows down, sun warming your cheeks, wind in your hair…what could be more refreshing than a casual summer cruise down the coast?

Howabout a cacophonous romp through a blighted wasteland filled with all manner of aliens, beasts, and toxic sludge? Yeah, we kinda thought that’d be more your speed.

RHEA’S RIPTIDE

Speaking of your speed, introducing RHEA’S RIPTIDE!

In this limited-time event, you’ll be handed the keys to a set of vehicles that you’ll use to traverse THREE treacherous landscapes over the course of SIX different maps. You might’ve guessed, but the sailin’ won’t be smooth, either. As you turn the key and step on the gas, you’ll need FUEL to move through the map. Encountering blockades or precarious chasms will require either NITROUS or EXPLOSIVES to pass through, depending on the obstacle. As you collect resources, you’ll find yourself progressing farther and farther through each map. As you reach the end of each map, you’ll get a unique reward for your collection—we're talking Women’s division flip cards, specialty pet support cards based on Rhea Ripley’s pets, and even MONSTER cards. What? Did we forget to mention the monsters?

At the end of each set of two maps, you’ll encounter a ferocious beast from a faraway land. Menacing as they may be, they’re no match for you. Grab an explosive and a special equipment card (located elsewhere in the game) and you’ll zip by ‘em like nothing, collect your reward, and be on your way to the next area.

Fuel, Nitrous, and Explosives can be found on the Draft Board (Fuel), the Rarity Draft Board (Nitrous and Explosives), and in quests. Keep an eye on socials and remember to check the store often for bonuses, as well. If you’re ever stuck, tapping on these resources within the map will let you know where you can collect each respective one.

That’s not the only terror you’ll encounter in this update, however, as mighty Superstars are emerging from the deep as we speak, causing widespread mayhem and tumultuous storms! The LEVIATHAN rarity has arrived!

We think you’ll be excited to grab these– not only because they’re some eye-catching new cards, but because we’re expanding how you can change and customize your cards with this update…

ONE-WAY CARD SWAPPING

Imagine this– you’ve just gotten your hands on the card you were after. Maybe a BattlePass card, or an illustrated card with a unique design. You go to try your flashy new image on another card and…you can’t swap it to other cards.

We, too, have wanted to make cool, silly, awesome combinations of card images and backgrounds and have found ourselves SICK at the inability to do so. SO, starting today, nearly all of the cards in WWE SuperCard are at least one-way swappable. This means that you should be able to take the images from almost all of your cards and put them onto other backgrounds, or as we call them, “card frames”.

Now, sometimes the card frames themselves are incompatible with other images, hence the term “one-way”. With those cards, you’ll be able to use the Superstar image on the card however you like, but you won’t be able to swap OTHER Superstar images onto that card frame. Make sense?

Keep in mind, this is a feature that opens up the possibilities of what can be done in terms of card customization, but it is also still BEING TESTED. There are thousands and thousands of new card combinations, and while some of them that you discover will be completely radical, others may be downright goofy. We’re ready for that and want you to share all your new inventions, both slick and stupid. Feel free to drop those on X/Twitter @wwesupercard, or in our Discord [HERE]. Finally, there is a tiny, tiny contingent of cards that are still not at all swappable due to tech issues, so heads up for that.
